Questions, answered clearly.
What Bunty does today, what is coming next, and what your business remains responsible for.
Who is Bunty designed for?
Bunty is designed for small and growing businesses selling products, services, appointments or a combination of these. It is especially useful for businesses that want a guided setup and simple day-to-day management.
Do I need a developer to use Bunty?
No. Store owners can add products or services, choose a theme, change colours and fonts, configure delivery and payments, publish policies and manage orders from the dashboard. Optional hands-on setup is available separately.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. You can launch on a Bunty store address and connect a custom domain when you are ready. Domain registration and renewal charges are separate.
How do my customers pay?
Each store chooses its own available payment methods, such as cash on delivery, payment at pickup or bank transfer. Online gateway options will appear only after the relevant provider connection is implemented and activated for that store.
Does Bunty take my customers’ payments?
Bunty currently manages the store and order workflow; it does not hold customer card balances on behalf of stores. Bunty subscription billing is separate from payments a shopper makes to a store.
Does Bunty send WhatsApp notifications?
Bunty supports merchant WhatsApp alerts after the sender connection and Meta-approved message template are active. Customer WhatsApp confirmation and interactive order buttons are planned and should not be treated as live until enabled.
Can I sell services or take appointments?
Yes. A business can list fixed-price, hourly, quote-based or information-only services. Appointment booking can be enabled only for services that require a scheduled time.
Can I add my own FAQs, policies and customer stories?
Yes. Stores can prepare and publish their own FAQs, terms, privacy, refund, shipping and cancellation information. Customer stories are optional and should only be published with the customer’s permission.
Who owns the store and customer data?
The store owner controls their business content and customer records, subject to Bunty’s Terms and Privacy Policy. Bunty provides export and store-deletion controls, with limited retention where required for security, legal or operational reasons.
How many products and photos can I add?
Bunty supports growing product catalogues. Photos, videos and other uploads are subject to file-size, storage and fair-use allowances; the subscription does not include unlimited media storage. We confirm the applicable allowance during setup. If your business needs extra capacity, we discuss the options and agree any additional charges with you before proceeding. Catalogue preparation and bulk uploads by the Bunty team are quoted separately.
What happens if I cancel?
Access and data handling follow the subscription, cancellation and retention terms shown in the dashboard and Bunty policies. Store owners should export any records they need before deletion is completed.
